CQC 2017 quilt show at the Denver Central Public Library, Gates Reading room on the 5th floor
2017 is a prime number, so we are looking at MATH this year! How do you as a quilter use math in your quilts? Are you a precision piecer, an accurate cutter, or just winging it with improv as you go? Whatever your style is, we want you to share and show your quilts!

Entrants must submit two (2) images per quilt in JPEG format, no larger than 2,000 pixels on the longest side.
Image 1 is of the overall quilt, image 2 is a close up shot showing some detail
Quilts should be photographed against a neutral background, white, black or grey. All edges of the quilt must be visible in the full picture, including a small portion of the neutral background.
Email your two images, one quilt at a time, with a short statement about your quilt, as well as width and length of quilt to: firstname.lastname@example.org

Your application is not complete until an entry fee and your images have been received.
All 2017 CQC members can submit up to three quilts. A quilt is defined as three or more layers held together by stitching. Quilts must have a 4″ hanging sleeve. The library is not able to accept any other form of hanging apparatus. All quilts must fall within the following dimensions, width up to 60 inches and length up to 72 inches. All quilts must have been completed after Jan 1, 2016. If a commercial pattern is used, credit must be given to the designer. Anyone who worked on the quilt needs to be credited when entry is emailed.
